About the Project

This project came through BYC, where we were brought in as the WordPress development partner to bring a detailed Figma design to life for Karishma Bhansali Mehta. The design had already been crafted with a very specific and refined visual direction, and our role was to execute it with pixel-perfect precision across all pages. What made this project technically demanding was the number of unique, hand-crafted sections throughout the site. None of these could be replicated with standard page builder templates or default Elementor widgets. Every section required custom development work to match the design exactly, making this one of the most detail-intensive Figma to WordPress builds we have worked on through an agency partnership.

About the Client

Karishma Bhansali Mehta is a storyteller, speaker, MC, podcast host, and thought-leadership curator with two decades of journalism experience. She has interviewed Heads of State for the EU press corps and the NATO Secretary General for NDTV, and she regularly moderates CEO roundtables for some of the world's most respected organizations. She speaks on four signature topics: Why Education Must Change, Normal is Boring, The Confidence Gap No One Talks About, and The Power of Asking Better Questions, delivering to audiences across health, entrepreneurship, education, finance, and innovation. Her work sits at the intersection of journalism, leadership, and community building, and her platform needed to reflect that breadth without losing the personal and human quality that makes her approach distinctive.

The Challenge

The Figma design delivered by BYC was polished, specific, and visually distinctive. The challenge was translating every detail of that design into a functioning WordPress website without any visual compromise. Several sections across the five pages featured layouts that had no direct equivalent in standard Elementor widgets or pre-built templates. Spacing, typography, hover interactions, and section compositions all needed to be rebuilt from scratch using custom Elementor development. Any deviation from the original design would have undermined the premium quality that BYC and Karishma had envisioned for the brand. The standard to work to was clear: if it is in the Figma file, it has to appear exactly that way on the live website.

We built the complete WordPress website using Elementor, converting the Figma design section by section with full attention to detail on every page. Each unique section was developed individually using custom Elementor work to ensure it matched the original design precisely. The five pages, Home, Meet Karishma, Services, Speaking, and Let's Talk, were all built to the same standard of precision, with consistent typography, spacing, and visual quality throughout. The result is a clean, premium brand website that communicates Karishma's credibility and range as a speaker, journalist, and thought leader, and positions her clearly for event organizers, corporate clients, and media partners visiting the site.
